Mollies are tropical fish , they can live from freshwater , brackish water and sea water. They are live bearing fish means that they do not lay eggs.
They are very colorful fish and varies from black to salfin mollies. They are peaceful and do not require large space to live in. 15 Gallons tank would be perfect for them to live. They do not get more then 2 inches and can live upto 3-4 years.
