Power Filter is a component which is in Aquariums for removing chemical wastes and unwanted dust particles and makes the water clean. It also provides fresh filtered water for the aquarium. It is very important for a home fish aquarium as it is a small environment and there could be lack of air and waste products which could harm the fish.

How to Use?

Power filters are easy to use and they just need to get hung-on on the glass of the tank.

The pipes and other wires should always remain outside the water and should be plugged as instructed on the guide.

How to Maintain?

They are also easy to maintain. Just take out the filter and open it up and remove the cartridge and wash it with clean water , also make sure there is nothing left on the cartridge. Put it back in the filter and start it. You should do this once or twice every 15 days. It would be alot better if you changed the cartridge once every month.
